How to read these tables
Every figure below is a garment measurement taken with the piece lying flat and relaxed, then doubled where the measurement goes around the body. That is why you can check us: lay a piece you already own flat, measure it the same way, and compare.
Each product page also lists the specific measurements for that piece — inseam, centre-back length, band width, hem opening — because a general chart cannot tell you how long a 3-inch split short is.
Tops, shorts, tights and pants
| Size | Chest | Waist | Hip |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 81–86 cm / 31.9–33.9 in | 64–69 cm / 25.2–27.2 in | 89–94 cm / 35–37 in |
| S | 86–91 cm / 33.9–35.8 in | 69–74 cm / 27.2–29.1 in | 94–99 cm / 37–39 in |
| M | 91–97 cm / 35.8–38.2 in | 74–79 cm / 29.1–31.1 in | 99–104 cm / 39–40.9 in |
| L | 97–104 cm / 38.2–40.9 in | 79–87 cm / 31.1–34.3 in | 104–112 cm / 40.9–44.1 in |
| XL | 104–112 cm / 40.9–44.1 in | 87–95 cm / 34.3–37.4 in | 112–120 cm / 44.1–47.2 in |
| XXL | 112–120 cm / 44.1–47.2 in | 95–103 cm / 37.4–40.6 in | 120–128 cm / 47.2–50.4 in |
This is a unisex block. Where a piece is cut for a narrower or wider frame, the product page says so in the fit notes and gives the specific measurements for that cut.
Bras
| Size | Underband, flat and doubled | Closest US band and cup |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 63–68 cm / 24.8–26.8 in | 30A – 32A |
| S | 68–73 cm / 26.8–28.7 in | 32B – 34B |
| M | 73–79 cm / 28.7–31.1 in | 34C – 36C |
| L | 79–87 cm / 31.1–34.3 in | 36D – 38D |
| XL | 87–95 cm / 34.3–37.4 in | 38DD – 40DD |
| XXL | 95–103 cm / 37.4–40.6 in | 40DDD – 42DDD |
The US band and cup column is an approximate conversion, not an exact one — our bras are lettered rather than banded and cupped, so a single letter covers a range. The underband measurement is the reliable number. Fit at the band first; a band that rides up is doing none of the work whatever the level on the label.
Support levels are explained on how we test. They describe construction and the impact range each was assessed against. They are our own scale, not a medical grading.
Socks
| Size | US shoe size |
|---|---|
| S | Women's 4–6 / Men's 3–5 |
| M | Women's 7–9 / Men's 6–8 |
| L | Women's 10–12 / Men's 9–11 |
How each measurement is taken

| Measurement | Method |
|---|---|
| Chest | Lay the garment flat and closed. Measure straight across from armhole seam to armhole seam, 2 cm below the underarm point, then double it. |
| Waist | Lay the garment flat. Measure straight across the narrowest point of the waistband with the elastic relaxed, then double it. |
| Hip | Lay the garment flat. Measure straight across at the widest point below the waistband, then double it. |
| Inseam | Lay the garment flat and fold along the centre. Measure from the crotch point straight down to the hem. |
| Underband | Lay the bra flat with the band relaxed. Measure straight across the bottom edge of the band, then double it. |
Measure a garment you already own the same way and you can compare directly. That is more reliable than converting from a body measurement, which depends on how tightly you pull the tape.
Tolerance
Production works to ±1 cm on every figure in these tables. Cut fabric moves, and a knit moves more than a woven. A piece measuring 1 cm either side of the published figure is within tolerance and is not a fault.
If something you receive is more than 1 cm out, it is a fault, not a size issue. Contact us and we will replace it or refund it in full including shipping — see the returns policy.
Model height and size
Every product page states the model’s height and the size they are wearing, so you can judge proportion rather than guess it. Where a piece is deliberately shown a size up for a looser fit, the page says that too.
Between two sizes
- Close-fitting leg pieces — take the smaller size. These are cut to be worn under tension, and the squat-proof rating was measured on a garment fitting as intended. A size too large stretches the knit further than it was tested at.
- Bras — fit the band, then the cup. If you are between bands, take the smaller; the band should be firm enough to stay put with your arms overhead.
- Tops and layers — take the larger size if you want the cut to hang, the smaller if you want it close.
- Kits — one size applies to every piece in the kit; mixed sizes are not available. If you sit between sizes across the top and bottom, buy the pieces individually.
Or send us the numbers and we will tell you which one to order: fit help. You get a specific size in a specific piece and the measurement behind it, not a range.
