A 3-inch split short cut for stride clearance. The inner brief is bonded rather than stitched through the gusset, so the only seams left on the inseam sit on the outer thigh where they are not loaded during a running gait. Rear zip pocket holds a key and a card.

The gusset is the difference

Nine miles and no rubbing on the inside of the leg, which has not been true for me in a 3-inch short before. Marking down one star because the rear pocket is tight with a large phone case.
